Where will you work?

Snapio is a fast-growing start-up: a global platform with a community of photographers in special locations. They take free photos of tourists, who can later view and buy the photos digitally. We work at popular sights, hotels, or amusement parks in and around Berlin. This way, everyone can enjoy memories of beautiful moments for a long time to come!

To grow the Snapio Community, we are recruiting photographers worldwide: hobby photographers who want to take photos on a commission basis, and students who want to shoot for Snapio on an hourly basis. Besides a fun source of income, we also want to offer our photographers a place where they can talk about their passion together, share experiences, and inspire and motivate each other to take even more beautiful photos. Fun. Cooperation. Sharing successes. That's what Snapio is all about.

What will you do?

As the City Manager Berlin, you will play a crucial role in the growth of our organisation in your city. You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, and the relationship management of photographers in and around Berlin. You will build a local team of active photographers who share a passion for photography and feel connected to the Snapio brand. As their first point of contact, you will be the person who:

  • handles the sourcing, recruitment, onboarding and training of new photographers;

  • builds and maintains a close relationship with photographers;

  • creates and manages the scheduling of photographers at locations in and around Berlin;

  • is a brand ambassador for the Snapio Community Culture;

  • organises meet-ups for photographers in your city;

  • builds a scalable and flexible team of photographers.

You have a lot of freedom in setting up your work. But it also requires you, especially in the first phase, to visit special locations yourself every day to approach photographers walking around there. To do your job well, we will of course offer you all possible support from our head office in the Netherlands.

Who are you?

As a social person, you want only one thing: to work with and for people. You have a highly developed sense of culture and know how to build relationships. You enjoy the challenge of actively steering towards ambitious targets, especially if you are well compensated for reaching them. Are you also practical and good at setting up and organising processes? Then the position of City Manager Berlin is for you.

Especially if you also:

  • live in (the vicinity of) Berlin and know all the popular locations in the area;

  • have an affinity for photography;

  • have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;

  • are fluent English, spoken and written;

  • possess a healthy dose of self-discipline and flexibility;

  • know how to get things done and get people on board with your positive and proactive attitude.

What do you get in return?

Working at Snapio means a lot of flexibility and independence to decide where, when and how you work. You will have a lot of freedom to spot opportunities for us and our photographers. In short: actively help build our fast-growing brand. We offer a very interesting basic salary, and you also benefit from the returns in your city. The better your photographers do, the more you benefit.
